Custom built for 1991-1993 Dodge Stealth's and Mitsubishi 3000GT's, these hoods were designed for venting as much heat as possible out from the engine bay while also ramming exterior air into the engine bay through the three signature Viper ducts. This hood brings in the authentic center Viper duct from the earlier year Vipers, while also sporting a style upgrade with the newly added 2003-2004 Viper vents on the sides. Think this is just an appearance gimmick? Think again. These side vents will feature an optional Cold Air Intake that will work with both the non-turbo AND twin-turbo 3000GT/Stealth's. The hood will utilize an upcoming product release of a cold air box, with rubber gaskets that will seal against the passenger side hood vent, pulling as much air as it needs directly from outside of the engine bay. Worried about rain? Worry no longer. This hood will also have built in mounting locations for rain 'block-off' plates on both of the side vents. In a matter of 30 seconds or less, these plates can be put in place below each vent to close them off during rainy days. At this point, the center Viper scoop will be used as a 'secondary' cold air intake - once again routing fresh air directly to the filter. The center vent will not need to be blocked off, as it has been tested in many rains storms without any problem of rain making it into the engine bay. These hoods will be available in both lightweight Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber and they use the stock latches for easy mounting. Both the top side and underside will be completely smoothed over, leaving the hood with a show-room quality finish no matter how you look at it.
